Scott Weinberg
Scott Weinberg was born and raised in Louisville and is a Partner at Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP, where he focuses his law practice in estate planning matters for high-net-worth individuals and families. Scott is licensed to practice in Kentucky, Florida, Illinois, and Indiana, and regularly advises his clients on tax efficient planning matters, including charitable giving. Scott regularly speaks at estate planning seminars, and he taught Estate and Gift Tax as an adjunct professor at the Brandei s School of Law at the University of Louisville in the Fall of 2013. Scott was recently named to Woodward/White’s The Best Lawyers in America® for Trusts and Estates, 2026.
Scott earned his B.A. degree in Economics from Emory University, Phi Beta Kappa, and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville, where he was Co-Senior Editor of the Brandeis Law Journal. Scott also completed Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation - “Mediating Disputes” - Executive Education Course.
Scott has served as President of his synagogue, Keneseth Israel, and also served on the Board of Directors of Keneseth Israel for several years. He previously served on the Boards of the Jewish Community Center and KMAC, and is very excited to serve on Pillar’s Board.
Scott is a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan, as well as a devoted member of Big Blue Nation, but most of his “free time” is devoted to his wife and three young daughters (who aren’t as young as they used to be).
