Jamese has been in the intellectual disabilities field since 2000, starting as a direct support professional providing direct care. She played a critical role in the opening of Pillar’s fourth engagement center, the Russell location. In 2024 she received the “Rising Star” Healthcare Heroes Award from Louisville Business First. Jamese is incredibly proud of her work, her husband Ahmed, and three adult children, Actora, Essence, and Ebony.
