    A new recreational center for disabled adults has opened in west Louisville. Russell Engagement Center held its open house at the Zion Baptist Church on Tuesday. The center engages adults with intellectual disabilities with day programs where they can learn art, technology like virtual reality, craft making and community outings.

    Adults with disabilities now have a new resource in Louisville's west end.

    The Russell Engagement Center opened on Tuesday at Zion Baptist Church on West Muhammad Ali Boulevard in the Russell neighborhood. It's the first new day program to serve adults with disabilities in the west end in almost a decade.
